أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو زَكَرِيَّا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ السَّمَّانِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

" بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ فِي طَرِيقٍ أَصَابَهُ عَطَشٌ فَجَاءَ بِئْرًا فَنَزَلَ فِيهَا فَشَرِبَ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَإِذَا كَلْبٌ يَأْكُلُ الثَّرَى مِنَ الْعَطَشِ فَنَزَلَ الرَّجُلُ إِلَى الْبِئْرِ فَمَلَأَ خُفَّهُ مِنَ الْمَاءِ ثُمَّ أَمْسَكَ الْخُفَّ بِفِيهِ فَسَقَى الْكَلْبَ فَشَكَرَ اللهُ لَهُ فَغَفَرَ لَهُ ". فَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَإِنَّ لَنَا فِي الْبَهَائِمِ لَأَجْرًا ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: فِي كُلِّ ذَاتِ كَبِدٍ رَطْبَةٍ أَجْرٌ
