( أَخْبَرَنَا ) مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ الْفَضْلِ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أَنْبَأَ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ مَزْيَدٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي، ثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنَّا يُقَالُ لَهُ: نَهِيكُ بْنُ يَرِيمَ، حَدَّثَنِي مُغِيثُ بْنُ سُمَيٍّ قَالَ:
كَانَ لِلزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ ؓ أَلْفُ مَمْلُوكٍ يُؤَدِّي إِلَيْهِ الْخَرَاجَ فَلَا يُدْخِلُ بَيْتَهُ مِنْ خَرَاجِهِمْ شَيْئًا
