( وَحَدَّثَنَا ) أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ دَاوُدَ الْعَلَوِيُّ - رَحِمَهُ اللهُ - أَنَا أَبُو حَامِدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْحَافِظُ، نَا أَبُو قِلَابَةَ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الرَّقَاشِيُّ، نَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ وَخَالِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
" إِذَا تَزَوَّجَ الْبِكْرَ عَلَى الثَّيِّبِ أَقَامَ عِنْدَهَا سَبْعًا، وَإِذَا تَزَوَّجَ الثَّيِّبَ عَلَى الْبِكْرِ أَقَامَ عِنْدَهَا ثَلَاثًا

Saʿīd al-Umawī and Yaʿlā b. ʿUbayd narrated it from Ibn Isḥāq, from Ayyūb, from Abū Qilābah, from Anas, as raised (marfūʿ). Ibrāhīm b. Saʿd narrated it from Ibn Isḥāq, from al-Ḥasan b. Dīnār, from Ayyūb, and raised it, and he made clear in it that Ibn Isḥāq did not hear it from Ayyūb, but only took it from al-Ḥasan b. Dīnār. Sufyān al-Thawrī narrated it from Ayyūb, and there is disagreement about him: Abū Nuʿaym and Khallād b. Yaḥyā narrated it from al-Thawrī, from Ayyūb, from Abū Qilābah, from Anas, who said: "It is from the Sunnah." Abū ʿĀṣim narrated it from al-Thawrī, from Ayyūb and Khālid, from Abū Qilābah, from Anas, raised to the Prophet ﷺ. Ibrāhīm b. Saʿd, Yazīd b. Abī Ḥakīm, ʿAbd al-Razzāq and Abū Usāmah contradicted him, and narrated it from al-Thawrī, from Ayyūb and Khālid, from Abū Qilābah, from Anas, who said: "It is from the Sunnah." Ḥammād b. Zayd made it a statement of the Companion (mawqūf) from Ayyūb. Hushaym made it mawqūf from Khālid, and said in it: "If I were to report that it is from the Prophet ﷺ, I would be truthful." Bishr b. al-Mufaḍḍal said likewise from Khālid, from Abū Qilābah, and he made it mawqūf from Qatādah, from Anas. Muḥammad b. Makhlad narrated to us, he said: Abū Qilābah ʿAbd al-Malik b. Muḥammad narrated to us, he said: Abū ʿĀṣim narrated to us, from Sufyān, from Ayyūb and Khālid, from Abū Qilābah, from Anas, from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: "When a man marries a virgin, he stays with her seven days, and when he marries a previously married woman, he stays with her three days."
