أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ قَالَا: نَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ السَّلَامِ قَالَا: ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَنَا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ:
إِذَا تَزَوَّجَ الْبِكْرَ عَلَى الثَّيِّبِ أَقَامَ عِنْدَهَا سَبْعًا وَإِذَا تَزَوَّجَ الثَّيِّبَ عَلَى الْبِكْرِ أَقَامَ عِنْدَهَا ثَلَاثًا. وَلَوْ قُلْتُ إِنَّهُ رَفَعَهُ صَدَقْتُ وَلَكِنَّهُ قَالَ: السُّنَّةُ

Dīnār, from Ayyūb, and raised it, and he made clear in it that Ibn Isḥāq did not hear it from Ayyūb, but only took it from al-Ḥasan b. Dīnār. Sufyān al-Thawrī narrated it from Ayyūb, and there is disagreement about him: Abū Nuʿaym and Khallād b. Yaḥyā narrated it from al-Thawrī, from Ayyūb, from Abū Qilābah, from Anas, who said: "It is from the Sunnah." Abū ʿĀṣim narrated it from al-Thawrī, from Ayyūb and Khālid, from Abū Qilābah, from Anas, raised to the Prophet ﷺ. Ibrāhīm b. Saʿd, Yazīd b. Abī Ḥakīm, ʿAbd al-Razzāq and Abū Usāmah contradicted him, and narrated it from al-Thawrī, from Ayyūb and Khālid, from Abū Qilābah, from Anas, who said: "It is from the Sunnah." Ḥammād b. Zayd made it a statement of the Companion (mawqūf) from Ayyūb. Hushaym made it mawqūf from Khālid, and said in it: "If I were to report that it is from the Prophet ﷺ, I would be truthful." Bishr b. al-Mufaḍḍal said likewise from Khālid, from Abū Qilābah, and he made it mawqūf from Qatādah, from Anas. Muḥammad b. Makhlad narrated to us, he said: Abū Qilābah ʿAbd al-Malik b. Muḥammad narrated to us, he said: Abū ʿĀṣim narrated to us, from Sufyān, from Ayyūb and Khālid, from Abū Qilābah, from Anas, from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: "When a man marries a virgin, he stays with her seven days, and when he marries a previously married woman, he stays with her three days."
