( وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَنْبَأَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ عَنْ عَمْرٍو مَوْلَى الْمُطَّلِبِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْحُوَيْرِثِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ:
أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ ؓ تَزَوَّجَ بِنْتَ الْفُرَافِصَةِ وَهِيَ نَصْرَانِيَّةٌ مَلَكَ عُقْدَةَ نِكَاحِهَا وَهِيَ نَصْرَانِيَّةٌ حَتَّى حَنِفَتْ حِينَ قَدِمَتْ عَلَيْهِ
