( وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ عَبْدَانَ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ السَّقَطِيُّ، ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، أَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ فَذَكَرَهُ بِإِسْنَادِهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ عَلِيٌّ:

لَوْ كَانَ دِينُ اللهِ بِالرَّأْيِ لَكَانَ بَاطِنُ الْخُفِّ أَحَقَّ بِالْمَسْحِ مِنْ أَعْلَاهُ، وَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَمْسَحُ هَكَذَا بِأَصَابِعِهِ
