( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو حَازِمٍ الْعَبْدَوِيُّ الْحَافِظُ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَمْزَةَ الْهَرَوِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ، ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ أَبَا بَكْرِ بْنَ حَفْصٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ:

لَحِقْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ فَخَطَبْتُ إِلَيْهِ ابْنَتَهُ، فَقَالَ لِيَ ابْنُ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ: إِنَّ ابْنَ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ لَأَهْلٌ أَنْ يُنْكَحَ، نَحْمَدُ رَبَّنَا وَنُصَلِّي عَلَى نَبِيِّنَا، وَقَدْ أَنْكَحْنَاكَ عَلَى مَا أَمَرَ اللهُ بِهِ إِمْسَاكٌ بِمَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ تَسْرِيحٌ بِإِحْسَانٍ
