The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent us out on a military expedition, and we took a great many livestock, and each one of us took a camel, one camel each. When we returned, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave us our shares, and each man among us received twelve camels, besides the camel that was given as an extra grant. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not find fault with us, nor with the one who gave to us.
