( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ، أَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الْقَطَّانُ، ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عِيسَى، أَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أَنَا عَاصِمٌ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ

أَنَّ أَوَّلَ جَدٍّ وَرِثَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ، عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ مَاتَ ابْنُ فُلَانِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، فَأَرَادَ عُمَرُ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ الْمَالَ دُونَ إِخْوَتِهِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ عَلِيٌّ وَزَيْدٌ ؓ: لَيْسَ لَكَ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: لَوْلَا أَنَّ رَأْيَكُمَا اجْتَمَعَ، لَمْ أَرَ أَنْ يَكُونَ ابْنِي، وَلَا أَكُونَ أَبَاهُ
