قَالَ: وَأَخْبَرَنِي ) مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ:
كَانَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ يَرُدُّ عَلَى كُلِّ وَارِثٍ الْفَضْلَ، بِحِصَّةِ مَا وَرِثَ، غَيْرَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَالزَّوْجِ، وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ لَا يَرُدُّ عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ، وَلَا زَوْجٍ، وَلَا ابْنَةِ ابْنٍ مَعَ ابْنَةِ الصُّلْبِ، وَلَا عَلَى أُخْتٍ لِأَبٍ مَعَ أُخْتٍ لِأَبٍ وَأُمٍّ، وَلَا عَلَى إِخْوَةٍ لِأُمٍّ مَعَ أُمٍّ، وَلَا عَلَى جَدَّةٍ، إِلَّا أَنْ لَا يَكُونَ وَارِثٌ غَيْرُهَا، ( وَكَانَ زَيْدٌ ) لَا يَرُدُّ عَلَى وَارِثٍ شَيْئًا، وَيَجْعَلُهُ فِي بَيْتِ الْمَالِ
