أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَطْعَمَ السُّدُسَ الْجَدَّةَ، إِذَا لَمْ تَكُنْ أُمٌّ

عبيد الله وثق وقال أبو حاتم صالح وأنكر على البخاري إدخاله في كتاب الضعفاء وقال يحول واقتصر على ذلك ولم يذكر ضعفه وقد أسلفنا هناك عن البخاري أنه قال في حقه عنده مناكير
machine translationʿUbayd Allāh was declared trustworthy (wuthiqa), and Abū Ḥātim said: "Righteous (ṣāliḥ)." He objected to al-Bukhārī's including him in the Book of the Weak (kitāb al-ḍuʿafāʾ) and said: "He should be moved out," and he limited himself to that and did not mention his weakness. We have already mentioned there from al-Bukhārī that he said concerning him: "He has objectionable reports (manākīr)."
