  • Dāraquṭnī

machine translationḤammād b. Salamah narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Yazīd b. Hārūn and Ḥajjāj narrated it from Ḥammād b. Salamah, and he said: "One of our companions narrated to me from Hishām," without naming him. Ḥawtharah b. Ashras narrated it from Ḥammād b. Salamah and named the man, saying: "from Shuʿbah, from Hishām b. ʿUrwah."

  • Abū Bakr Aḥmad b. al-Ḥusayn al-Bayhaqī

machine translationḤawthara b. Ashras narrated it well (jawwadahu), while some fell short of it from Ḥammād and said, "from a man," without naming Shuʿbah; and some narrated it as a mursal report and did not mention ʿUrwah in its chain.

  • Sulaymān b. Aḥmad al-Ṭabarānī

machine translationNone narrated it from Shuʿbah except Ḥammād b. Salamah, and none narrated it from him except Ḥawthara b. Ashras; ʿAbdullāh was alone in narrating it.

  • Maghlaṭay
