فِيمَا أَجَازَ لِي ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ رِوَايَتَهُ عَنْهُ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمِّ، أَنْبَأَ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنِ الشَّافِعِيِّ، قَالَ:
قَدْ ذَهَبَ إِلَى تَضْمِينِ الْقَصَّارِ شُرَيْحٌ، فَضَمَّنَ قَصَّارًا احْتَرَقَ بَيْتُهُ، فَقَالَ: تُضَمِّنُنِي، وَقَدِ احْتَرَقَ بَيْتِي ؟ فَقَالَ شُرَيْحٌ: أَرَأَيْتَ لَوِ احْتَرَقَ بَيْتُهُ، كُنْتَ تَتْرُكُ لَهُ أَجْرَكَ ؟ !
