( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَمْرٍو الْأَدِيبُ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْإِسْمَاعِيلِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنِي الْمَنِيعِيُّ، ثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ السَّمْتِيُّ سَنَةَ ثَمَانٍ وَعِشْرِينَ، ثَنَا السَّعِيدِيُّ: عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:
مَا بَعَثَ اللهُ نَبِيًّا إِلَّا رَاعِيَ غَنَمٍ. قَالُوا: وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ؟ قَالَ: " وَأَنَا كُنْتُ أَرْعَاهَا لِأَهْلِ مَكَّةَ بِالْقَرَارِيطِ
