أَخْبَرَنَا ) مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو طَاهِرٍ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، ثَنَا جَدِّي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ، ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَرْمَلَةَ؛ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ يَقُولُ:

أَفْلَسَ مَوْلًى لِأُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَاخْتُصِمَ فِيهِ إِلَى عُثْمَانَ ؓ، فَقَضَى عُثْمَانُ أَنَّ مَنْ كَانَ اقْتَضَى مِنْ حَقِّهِ شَيْئًا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَتَبَيَّنَ إِفْلَاسُهُ فَهُوَ لَهُ، وَمَنْ عَرَفَ مَتَاعَهُ فَهُوَ لَهُ
