أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْفَتْحِ الْعُمَرِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي شُرَيْحٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ الْبَغَوِيُّ، ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، أَنْبَأَ زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ صِلَةَ بْنِ زُفَرَ، قَالَ:
كُنْتُ جَالِسًا إِلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ هَمْدَانَ عَلَى فَرَسٍ أَبْلَقَ، فَقَالَ: يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَشْتَرِي هَذَا ؟ قَالَ: وَمَا لَهُ ؟ قَالَ: إِنَّ صَاحِبَهُ أَوْصَى إِلَيَّ، قَالَ: لَا تَشْتَرِهِ، وَلَا تَسْتَقْرِضْ مِنْ مَالِهِ
