A time will come upon the people in which they will consume usury (ribā). Some people will consume it, or all the people will, and whoever among them does not consume it, some of its dust will reach him.

  • Dāraquṭnī

machine translationDāwūd b. Abī Hind narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Ḥafṣ b. Ghiyāth narrated it from Dāwūd, from al-Ḥasan, from Abū Hurayrah, but Dāwūd did not hear it from al-Ḥasan. ʿAbd al-Wāḥid b. Ziyād narrated it from Dāwūd, from Saʿīd b. Abī Khayrah, from al-Ḥasan, from Abū Hurayrah. Likewise ʿAbbād b. Rāshid narrated it from Saʿīd b. Abī Khayrah, from al-Ḥasan, from Abū Hurayrah, and this is the correct (ṣawāb) version.
