حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ مَوْلَى الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ وَنَحْنُ فِي مَسْجِدِ الرَّسُولِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ صَاحِبُ هَذِهِ الْحُجْرَةِ: لَا تُنْزَعُ الرَّحْمَةُ إِلَّا مِنْ شَقِيٍّ.

Translation

✧ I heard Abu Hurayrah ؓ while we were in the mosque of the Messenger ﷺ saying: Muhammad, the Messenger of God ﷺ, Abu al-Qasim, the occupant of this chamber, said: Mercy is not removed except from a wretched one.
