✧ While we were in the mosque, the Messenger of God ﷺ came out to us and said: Go to the Jews. We went out with him until we came to the house of study. The Messenger of God ﷺ stood and called them: O assembly of Jews, submit and you will be safe. They said: You have conveyed, O Abu al-Qasim. The Messenger of God ﷺ said to them: That is what I intend; submit and you will be safe. They said: You have conveyed, O Abu al-Qasim. He said: That is what I intend. Then he said it a third time and said: Know that the earth belongs to God and His Messenger, and I intend to expel you from this land. Whoever of you finds something with his wealth, let him sell it; otherwise, know that the earth belongs to God [Mighty and Majestic] and His Messenger.
