حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ
نَزَلَ نَبِيٌّ مِنَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ تَحْتَ شَجَرَةٍ فَلَدَغَتْهُ نَمْلَةٌ فَأَمَرَ بِجَهَازِهِ فَأُخْرِجَ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِهَا، فَأُحْرِقَتْ بِالنَّارِ فَأَوْحَى اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَيْهِ فَهَلَّا نَمْلَةً وَاحِدَةً.

✧ A prophet among the prophets camped beneath a tree, and an ant bit him. He ordered his baggage to be moved out from under it, then he ordered [the colony] to be burned with fire. Allah, Mighty and Majestic, revealed to him: "Why not just one ant?"
