حَدَّثَنَا غَسَّانُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ المُوصِلِيٌّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ ابْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ يُؤْتَى بِالْمَوْتِ كَبْشًا أَغْثَرَ فَيُوقَفُ بَيْنَ الْجَنَّةِ وَالنَّارِ فَيُقَالُ يَا أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ فَيَشْرَئِبُّونَ وَيَنْظُرُونَ وَيُقَالُ لِأَهْلِ النَّارِ فَيَشْرَئِبُّونَ وَيَنْظُرُونَ وَيَرَوْنَ أَنْ قَدْ جَاءَ الْفَرَجُ فَيُذْبَحُ فَيُقَالُ خُلُودٌ لَا مَوْتَ

✧ That the Prophet ﷺ said: "Death will be brought as a horned ram and made to stand between Paradise and Hell. It will be said: 'O people of Paradise,' and they will crane their necks and look. It will be said to the people of Hell, and they will crane their necks and look, and they will think that relief has come. Then it will be slaughtered and it will be said: 'Eternal life, no death.'"
