وَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ

لَا يُبْغِضُ الْأَنْصَارَ رَجُلٌ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ، وَلَوْلَا الْهِجْرَةُ لَكُنْتُ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، وَلَوْ سَلَكَتِ الْأَنْصَارُ وَادِيًا أَوْ شِعْبًا لَسَلَكْتُ وَادِيَهُمْ أَوْ شِعْبَهُمُ، الْأَنْصَارُ شِعَارِي وَالنَّاسُ دِثَارِي.

Translation

✧ No man hates the Ansar while believing in Allah and the Last Day. Were it not for the emigration, I would have been a man of the Ansar. If the Ansar traversed a valley or a mountain pass, I would traverse their valley or their mountain pass. The Ansar are my inner garment, and the people are my outer garment.
