حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ صَاحِبُ الزِّيَادِيِّ عَنْ شَيْخٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ البَصْرَةِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَمُوتُ فَيَشْهَدُ لَهُ ثَلَاثَةُ أَهْلِ أَبْيَاتٍ مِنْ جِيرَانِهِ الْأَدْنَيْنَ بِخَيْرٍ إِلَّا قَالَ اللهُ [تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى]: قَدْ قَبِلْتُ شَهَادَةَ عِبَادِي عَلَى مَا عَلِمُوا وَغَفَرْتُ لَهُ مَا أَعْلَمُ.
