حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يُتَلَقَّى الْجَلَبُ فَإِنِ ابْتَاعَ مُبْتَاعٌ فَصَاحِبُ السِّلْعَةِ بِالْخِيَارِ إِذَا وَرَدَتِ السُّوقَ.

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade meeting caravans before they reach the market. If someone buys from them, then the owner of the goods has the option when the goods reach the market.
