حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ صُبَيْحٍ عَنْ شُتَيْرِ بْنِ شَكَلٍ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ الْأَحْزَابِ: شَغَلُونَا عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى، صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ، مَلَأَ اللهُ قُبُورَهُمْ وَبُيُوتَهُمْ نَارًا، قَالَ: ثُمَّ صَلَّاهَا بَيْنَ الْعِشَاءَيْنِ، بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ،

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said on the Day of al-Ahzab: They kept us from the middle prayer, the 'Asr prayer. May Allah fill their graves and their homes with fire. He said: Then he prayed it between the two night prayers, between Maghrib and 'Isha'.
