✧ The Children of Israel used to bathe naked, and the Prophet of God Musa ﷺ was modest and covered himself, and he used to cover himself when he bathed. They accused him of a defect. He said: While the Prophet of God Musa ﷺ was bathing one day, he placed his clothes on a rock, and the rock went off with his clothes. The Prophet of God followed it, striking it with his staff and saying: 'My garment, O rock! My garment, O rock!' until it brought him to a gathering of the Children of Israel and stopped in their midst. The Prophet of God took his clothes, and they looked, and behold, he was the best of people in form and the most upright in figure. The Children of Israel said: 'May God destroy the liars among the Children of Israel.' So that was his exoneration, by which God, Mighty and Majestic, cleared him.
