حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي يُونُسَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَتَّخِذُ عِنْدَكَ عَهْدًا لَنْ تُخْلِفَنِيهِ، إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ، فَأَيُّمَا عَبْدٍ جَلَدْتُهُ أَوْ شَتَمْتُهُ أَوْ سَبَبْتُهُ فَاجْعَلْهَا لَهُ صَلَاةً وَقُرْبَةً.

✧ O Allah, I make a covenant with You that You will never break. I am only a human being, so whichever servant I have flogged, reviled, or insulted, make it for him a prayer and a means of drawing near.
