حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ مَوْلَى أُمِّ بُرْثُنٍ حَدَّثَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
كَتَبَ اللهُ الْجُمُعَةَ عَلَى مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَنَا فَاخْتَلَفُوا فِيهَا وَهَدَانَا اللهُ لَهَا، فَالنَّاسُ لَنَا فِيهَا تَبَعٌ فَلِلْيَهُودِ غَدًا وَلِلنَّصَارَى بَعْدَ غَدٍ.

✧ Allah prescribed the Friday prayer for those before us, but they differed concerning it, and Allah guided us to it. So the people are followers of us in it: for the Jews tomorrow, and for the Christians the day after tomorrow.
