حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
فِي قَوْلِ لُوطٍ: لَوْ أَنَّ لِي بِكُمْ قُوَّةً أَوْ آوِي إِلَى رُكْنٍ شَدِيدٍ، قَالَ [كَانَ] النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: " يَأْوِي إِلَى رُكْنٍ شَدِيدٍ إِلَى رَبِّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: فَمَا بَعَثَ اللهُ بَعْدَهُ نَبِيًّا إِلَّا فِي ثَرْوَةٍ مِنْ قَوْمِهِ

✧ Regarding the saying of Lot: 'If only I had strength against you or could take refuge in a strong support'—he said: [It was] the Prophet ﷺ [who said]: 'He took refuge in a strong support, in his Lord, Mighty and Majestic.' The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Allah did not send any prophet after him except among the wealth of his people.'
