حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ

بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ رَاكِبٌ عَلَى بَقَرَةٍ الْتَفَتَتْ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَتْ: إِنِّي لَمْ أُخْلَقْ لِهَذَا، إِنَّمَا خُلِقْتُ لِلْحِرَاثَةِ قَالَ: فَآمَنْتُ بِهِ أَنَا وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرُ، قَالَ: وَأَخَذَ الذِّئْبُ شَاةً فَتَبِعَهَا الرَّاعِي، فَقَالَ الذِّئْبُ: مَنْ لَهَا يَوْمَ السَّبُعِ، يَوْمَ لَا رَاعِيَ لَهَا غَيْرِي، قَالَ: فَآمَنْتُ بِهِ أَنَا وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرُ.

✧ While a man was riding an ox, it turned to him and said: I was not created for this; I was created only for plowing. He said: I believed in it, and Abu Bakr and Umar. He said: And a wolf took a sheep and the shepherd followed it, and the wolf said: Who will have it on the day of the beast of prey, the day when it has no shepherd but me? He said: I believed in it, and Abu Bakr and Umar.
