Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to the mosque and saw them in separate groups. He said: He became so angry that we had never seen him angrier. He said: By Allah, I was about to command a man to lead the people in prayer, then go after those who stay behind from prayer in their homes and burn it down upon them. And perhaps he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered [the mosque] for the Isha prayer.
