✧ I reached the seventh heaven and looked, and there I was above with thunder and lightning. Then I came upon a people whose bellies were like houses containing snakes, seen from outside their bellies. I said, 'Who are these?' He said, 'These are the eaters of usury.' When I descended and reached the lowest heaven, there I was with dust, smoke, and voices. I said, 'Who are these?' He said, 'The devils, averting the eyes of the children of Adam so that they do not reflect on the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Were it not for that, you would see wonders.'
