حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي حَصِينٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ: مُرْنِي بِأَمْرٍ وَلَا تُكْثِرْ عَلَيَّ حَتَّى أَعْقِلَهُ، قَالَ: لَا تَغْضَبْ، فَأَعَادَ عَلَيْهِ، [فَأَعَادَ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ]: " لَا تَغْضَبْ

Translation

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: Command me with a matter and do not make it too much for me so that I can grasp it. He said: Do not become angry. He repeated it to him, [and he repeated to him, saying]: "Do not become angry."
