✧ I was present with the delegation of 'Abd al-Qays when they came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He forbade them to drink from these vessels: al-hantam, al-dubba', al-muzaffat, and al-naqir. A man from the group stood up and said, "O Messenger of Allah, the people have no containers." I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as if he felt sorry for the people. Then he said, "Drink it when it is good; when it turns bad, leave it."
