✧ "No man loves to meet God [Mighty and Majestic] except that God loves to meet him, and no man hates to meet God except that God hates to meet him." So I went to 'A'ishah and said, "If what Abu Hurayrah reported from the Prophet ﷺ is true, then we are ruined." She said, "The ruined one is he who is ruined according to what the Messenger of God ﷺ said. And what is that?" He said: He said: I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: "No man loves to meet God except that God loves to meet him, and no man hates to meet God except that God hates to meet him." She said, "I bear witness that I heard him say that. Do you know why that is? When the chest rattles, the eyes stare, the skin shudders, and the fingers convulse, then whoever loves to meet God, God loves to meet him, and whoever hates to meet God, God hates to meet him."
