حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

إِنَّ الذُّبَابَ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيْهِ دَاءٌ وَفِي الْآخَرِ شِفَاءٌ، فَإِذَا وَقَعَ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ، [فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ فَإِنَّهُ يَتَّقِي بِالَّذِي فِيهِ الدَّاءُ]، ثُمَّ يُخْرِجْهُ

Translation

Chain of narrators

  2. Layth
  3. Muḥammad
  4. al-Qaʿqāʿ
  5. Abū Ṣāliḥ
  6. Abū Hurayrah

✧ In one of the fly's wings there is disease and in the other there is a cure. So if it falls into the vessel of one of you, let him immerse it, for it protects with the wing containing the disease, then let him remove it.
