حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ الْعَجْلَانَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ

سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: أَيُّ النَّاسِ خَيْرٌ ؟ فَقَالَ: " أَنَا وَالَّذِينَ مَعِي، ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ عَلَى الْأَثَرِ، ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ عَلَى الْأَثَرِ "، ثُمَّ كَأَنَّهُ رَفَضَ مَنْ بَقِيَ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked: "Which people are best?" He said: "I and those with me, then those who follow, then those who follow." Then it was as if he rejected the rest.
