حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

وَاللهِ إِنِّي لَأَقْرَبُكُمْ صَلَاةً بِرَسُولِ اللهِ، [ ﷺ ] وَكَانَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ يَقْنُتُ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ وَصَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ بَعْدَمَا يَقُولُ: سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ، فَيَدْعُو لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَيَلْعَنُ الْكُفَّارَ

Translation

✧ By Allah, I am the closest of you in prayer to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Abu Hurayrah would perform qunut in the last rak'ah of the night prayer and the morning prayer, after saying 'Sami'a Allahu liman hamidah,' supplicating for the believers and cursing the disbelievers.
