حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْوَرْكَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ مُخَارِقٍ عَنْ طَارِقٍ قَالَ

خَطَبَنَا عَلِيٌّ، فَقَالَ: مَا عِنْدَنَا شَيْءٌ مِنَ الْوَحْيِ - أَوْ قَالَ: كِتَابٌ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ - إِلَّا مَا فِي كِتَابِ اللهِ، وَهَذِهِ الصَّحِيفَةُ الْمَقْرُونَةُ بِسَيْفِي - وَعَلَيْهِ سَيْفٌ حِلْيَتُهُ حَدِيدٌ - وَفِيهَا فَرَائِضُ الصَّدَقَاتِ

Translation

✧ Ali gave us a sermon and said, 'We have nothing of the revelation—or he said: a book from the Messenger of God ﷺ—except what is in the Book of God, and this scroll attached to my sword'—and he had a sword whose ornament was iron—'and in it are the obligatory amounts of the alms.'
