حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ سَمِعْتُ عَاصِمَ بْنَ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ مِنْ آلِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عُبَيْدٍ مَوْلًى لِأَبِي رُهْمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
أَنَّهُ لَقِيَ امْرَأَةً فَوَجَدَ مِنْهَا رِيحَ إِعْصَارٍ طَيِّبَةً، فَقَالَ لَهَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: الْمَسْجِدَ تُرِيدِينَ ؟ قَالَتْ: نَعَمْ. قَالَ: وَلَهُ تَطَيَّبْتِ ؟ قَالَتْ: نَعَمْ. قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: مَا مِنِ امْرَأَةٍ تَطَيَّبَتْ لِلْمَسْجِدِ فَيَقْبَلُ اللهُ لَهَا صَلَاةً حَتَّى تَغْتَسِلَ مِنْهُ اغْتِسَالَهَا مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ، فَاذْهَبِي فَاغْتَسِلِي

✧ He met a woman and noticed on her a pleasant, swirling fragrance. Abu Hurayrah said to her, "Do you intend to go to the mosque?" She said, "Yes." He said, "And for that you have perfumed yourself?" She said, "Yes." Abu Hurayrah said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'No woman perfumes herself for the mosque but Allah will not accept her prayer until she washes it off as she washes from major ritual impurity. So go and wash.'"
