✧ A bedouin gave the Messenger of God ﷺ a young she-camel as a gift, and he compensated him for it with six young she-camels, but he was displeased. That reached the Prophet ﷺ, so he praised God and extolled Him, then said: 'So-and-so gave me a she-camel as a gift, and it is my she-camel. I recognize it as I recognize some of my family; it went missing from me on the day of Zughabat. I compensated him with six young she-camels, yet he remained displeased. I had resolved not to accept a gift except from a Qurayshi, an Ansari, a Thaqafi, or a Dausi.'
