حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى قَالَ
لَا يَقُلْ أَحَدُكُمْ يَا خَيْبَةَ الدَّهْرِ، فَإِنِّي أَنَا الدَّهْرُ أُقَلِّبُ لَيْلَهُ وَنَهَارَهُ، فَإِذَا شِئْتُ قَبَضْتُهُمَا
Translation

✧ None of you should say: 'O failure of time,' for I am time; I alternate its night and day, and if I will, I seize them both.
