✧ Abu Hurayrah used to lead us in prayer and would say the takbir when he stood and when he bowed, and when he wanted to prostrate after rising from bowing, and when he wanted to prostrate after rising from prostration. And when he sat, and when he wanted to rise in the two rak'ahs, he said the takbir, and he said the takbir similarly in the other two rak'ahs. When he said the salam, he said: By the One in whose hand is my soul, I am the closest of you in resemblance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ — meaning his prayer. This remained his prayer until he departed this world.
