حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ وَيَعْقُوبُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
لَا يَتَمَنَّيَنَّ أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَوْتَ، إِمَّا مُحْسِنٌ فَلَعَلَّهُ يَزْدَادُ خَيْرًا، وَإِمَّا مُسِيءٌ لَعَلَّهُ يَسْتَعْتِبُ
Translation

✧ None of you should wish for death. If he is a doer of good, perhaps he will increase in goodness; if he is an evildoer, perhaps he will seek to make amends.
