حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ
كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي جِنَازَةٍ، فَكُنْتُ إِذَا مَشَيْتُ سَبَقَنِي فَأُهَرْوِلُ، فَإِذَا هَرْوَلْتُ سَبَقْتُهُ فَالْتَفَتُّ إِلَى رَجُلٍ إِلَى جَنْبِي فَقُلْتُ: تُطْوَى لَهُ الْأَرْضُ، وَخَلِيلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ

✧ I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a funeral procession, and when I walked he would outpace me, so I would hurry; and when I hurried I would outpace him. Then I turned to a man beside me and said: The earth is folded up for him, and he is the intimate friend of Ibrahim.
