حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ ثُوَيْرِ بْنِ أَبِي فَاخِتَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ
أَهْدَى كِسْرَى لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقَبِلَ مِنْهُ، وَأَهْدَى لَهُ قَيْصَرُ، فَقَبِلَ مِنْهُ، وَأَهْدَتْ لَهُ الْمُلُوكُ، فَقَبِلَ مِنْهُمْ

✧ Chosroes sent a gift to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he accepted it from him. Caesar sent him a gift, and he accepted it from him. The kings sent him gifts, and he accepted them from them.
