حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
الثَّيِّبُ تُسْتَأْمَرُ فِي نَفْسِهَا، وَالْبِكْرُ تُسْتَأْذَنُ. قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، كَيْفَ إِذْنُهَا؟ قَالَ: أَنْ تَسْكُتَ
Translation

✧ The previously married woman is to be consulted concerning herself, and the virgin is to be asked permission. They said: O Messenger of Allah, how is her permission? He said: That she remains silent.
