حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ قِيلَ لِسُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ قِيلَ لَهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ

مَنِ ابْتَاعَ مُحَفَّلَةً أَوْ مُصَرَّاةً فَهُوَ بِالْخِيَارِ فَإِنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يَرُدَّهَا فَلْيَرُدَّهَا، وَإِنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يُمْسِكَهَا أَمْسَكَهَا

✧ Whoever buys a muhaffalah or musarrāh [animal with milk retained in its udder to deceive the buyer] has the option: if he wishes, he may return it; and if he wishes to keep it, he may keep it.
