حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
ذَرُونِي مَا تَرَكْتُكُمْ فَإِنَّمَا هَلَكَ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ بِكَثْرَةِ سُؤَالِهِمْ وَاخْتِلَافِهِمْ عَلَى أَنْبِيَائِهِمْ. مَا نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْهُ فَانْتَهُوا، وَمَا أَمَرْتُكُمْ فَأْتُوا مِنْهُ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ
Translation

✧ Leave me as long as I leave you, for only those before you perished because of their excessive questioning and their disagreeing with their prophets. What I forbid you, abstain from it; and what I command you, do of it as much as you are able.
