حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ سُمَيٍّ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَسْتَعِيذُ مِنْ هَؤُلَاءِ الثَّلَاثِ: دَرَكِ الشَّقَاءِ، وَشَمَاتَةِ الْأَعْدَاءِ، وَسُوءِ الْقَضَاءِ ( أَوْ جَهْدِ الْبَلَاءِ )

Translation

Chain of narrators

  2. Sumay
  3. Abū Ṣāliḥ
  4. Abū Hurayrah

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to seek refuge from these three: the overtaking of misery, the gloating of enemies, and an evil decree (or the severity of affliction).
